Help Page: Lost Permits

If you lose your permit, you can either:

  1. Print out another copy of your permit. To do this, from the home page click on permits, then on status in the left-hand navigation menu. It will prompt you for your permit and registration numbers. After entering those numbers to identify your permit, scroll to the bottom and click on print.
  2. Contact NMFS Customer Service at 888-872-8862 to have a new copy of your permit mailed or faxed to you.
Remember, once you obtain your replacement permit, you need to verify that the information on the permit is correct and then sign the permit. Only a signed permit is valid.

NOTE: If some information contained on the permit has changed since you were issued the permit, you should update that information prior to getting a replacement permit. See Updating Permit Information for instructions on how to go about this.
