What's New?

HMS Permits now requires users to create an account associated with their permit(s). The account allows permit holders to view and manage their permits, report their catches, and view their catch reports.

To create an account, please have the email address associated with your permits ready and follow the instructions on the Create Your Account page. If you require additional information or help, please contact Customer Service (888-872-8862). You can also check out the Create an Account and Link Your Permits page for additional instructions.

The Atlantic Highly Migratory Species (HMS) Permit Shop makes it easy to apply for and renew the following federal vessel permits required to fish for Atlantic tunas, billfishes, swordfish, and sharks:
