Home Screen

  This app provides fishermen an easy tool to record their trips and report landings of bluefin tuna, blue marlin, white marlin, roundscale spearfish, sailfish, and swordfish. This app allows fishermen to record their landings and releases during their fishing trips on their boats. The information is stored in the device. Users can submit the reports to HMS when an Internet connection is available.

The home screen lists unsubmitted and submitted landing reports with different background colors. Reports are not editable after successful submission.

  • Tap the "Permits" tab to go to the Permits Screen.
  • Tap the "Notifications" tab to view new or saved NOAA notifications on the Announcements Screen. The red number indicates the number of new announcements that have not been read.
  • Tap the "Start New Report" button to start a new report using the selected permit. Only permits that are not expired are listed on the Home Screen. At least one permit is required to start a new report.
  • Tap on a report item under catch reports list to navigate to the Landing List Screen.
